Kids Wrestling

Takedowns, control and championship coaching.

Overview

About Kids Wrestling

Kids Wrestling develops takedowns, control and balance with championship-level coaching — one of the best foundations a young athlete can build.

It teaches grit and composure, builds full-body strength and coordination, and instills the work ethic that carries over to school and life.

Wrestling is the least forgiving thing on the youth timetable and that is precisely its value. There is no equipment to hide behind and no way to coast through a round — a child either moves or gets moved. Most kids find the first month genuinely hard, and the ones who stay tend to carry something out of it that is difficult to teach any other way.

It is also the best physical base a young athlete can build for anything else. Wrestlers arrive in other sports already strong through the hips and back, already comfortable with contact, and already used to competing while tired. Coaches in every other sport in this building would rather be handed a wrestler than almost anyone else.

Why train Kids Wrestling

What You’ll Get

01

Nowhere To Hide

No equipment, no standing off. A child either moves or gets moved, and they find out which within about thirty seconds.

02

The Best Athletic Base There Is

Strong hips and back, comfortable with contact, used to competing tired. It makes every other sport they try easier.

03

Composure Under Pressure

Being held down and having to think clearly anyway is a rare thing to practise at that age, and it does not stay on the mat.

04

Championship-Level Coaching

Our wrestling coaches have produced national champions and coached at Olympic level. Their records are on the coach cards, not just asserted here.
