Conditioning training at Xtreme Couture Toronto

More than the gym floor

A Fitness Club Inside A Fight Gym

Xtreme Couture is known for the cage. Most of this timetable has nothing to do with it. 32 group fitness classes run here every week, seven days a week, and you never have to set foot on a mat to take any of them.

More than half are yoga and Pilates — 17 of the 32, across 13 differently-named yoga classes from hot flow to candlelight gentle. The rest is strength and conditioning. The MMA gym is through the door if you ever get curious, and it is not a prerequisite for anything on this page.

Five classes is a lot to pick from

Start With What You Want

The four-day pass is there so you can try a few and find out. If you would rather have a steer, it comes down to what you are after this month.

01

You want to get stronger

Kettlebell runs 4 times a week and Cross Training 3. Both are full-body and load-based — swings, cleans, presses, circuits. Full Body Circuit adds a weekly session if you like the format.

02

You want your heart rate up

Xtreme Cycling 3 times a week, low impact and loud. Zumba 4 times, if you would rather not notice you are doing cardio. Neither asks you to be co-ordinated on day one.

03

You want to move better

13 differently-named yoga classes and 3 Pilates sessions a week. Hot flow at one end, candlelight gentle and deep stretch at the other. Most people end up using these around whatever else they do.

04

You have never done a class

Start with a warm Yoga Flow or a Cycling class. Both are self-paced, nobody is watching you, and you can leave the hard version for the second week. There is no beginner tier to graduate out of.
