Yoga & Mobility

Flow, breathe and recover — strength and stillness.

Overview

About Yoga & Mobility

Our yoga program spans dynamic and restorative styles. Yoga Flow (vinyasa) synchronizes movement with breath in a continuous, fluid sequence that builds strength, flexibility and balance while promoting mindfulness.

Yin Yoga slows everything down — holding passive stretches for 3–5 minutes to target deep connective tissue, release tension and increase flexibility. Hot, Power, Hatha, Deep Stretch and Candlelight Gentle classes round out the week.

This is the largest single block on our fitness timetable by some distance — seventeen sessions a week across thirteen differently-named classes, plus Pilates. That is not an accident. In a building where people spend their evenings being thrown, punched and folded up, the room that puts them back together gets used constantly.

It is also why the range matters. A hot flow at seven in the morning and a candlelight gentle class at the end of a hard week are barely the same activity, and most regulars use two or three of them for completely different reasons. If you have written yoga off before, it is worth checking which one you actually tried — there is a reasonable chance it was not the one for you.

Why train Yoga & Mobility

What You’ll Get

01

The Thing That Keeps You Training

Most people stop training because something hurts, not because they lost interest. This is the class that deals with that before it happens.

02

Thirteen Kinds Of It

Hot, Power, Hatha, Yin, Deep Stretch, Candlelight Gentle and more. Disliking one style tells you nothing about the others.

03

Strength You Cannot Fake

Holding your own body still in an awkward position is its own kind of strong, and it is usually the kind people who lift heavy turn out to be missing.

04

An Hour With Your Phone Elsewhere

The breathing is not decoration. For a lot of members this is the only hour in the week where nothing is asking for their attention.
